'Average hotel in the south of Manhattan. The windows were really dirty and the floor of the room definately wasn't level. It's also very noisy.
But the room was clean and the bed was ok. The staff were also nice and there is a metro station in front of the hotel.
The location is a plus, but remember that staying in Manhattan, in general, is expensive.

'Het Opera house hotel is zeker een aanrader. Prachtig hotel, schoon en een lekker (gratis!) ontbijt. De omgeving is wat ruig. Het metrostation is nog geen 2 minuten lopen van het hotel dus met de omgeving heb je verder niet zoveel te maken. '

In the weekend people from the neighbourhood are celebrating in the lobby with loud music. It feels strange when you enter but it's only in the weekend and in the room you won't hear anything. I think it's nice that the hotel offers local people this opportunity. You will feel save in the hotel and the subway is nearby. Our room was nice and clean.'

"Good place next to time square, clean hotel, good beds, rooms for 4 persons aren somewhat small if you have suitcases, but doable. Breakfast is proper and included (just missing basic options for bread such as cheese and ham).
The elevator situation especially around breakfast time is terrible. There are 5 elevators for over 30+ floors. If you are below level 20 there is a fair chance that you have to wait +10 mins for a elevator thats not full.
Further is the rooftop bar not just to but you must take a table. Outside space is limited, while inside the airco is on turbo.
Staff in general is nice, there is a basic but well maintained gym and they offer taxi services in case u need one to the airport. Conclusion, eventhough the elevator situation I would return."

It’s the perfect base for exploring New York, with major attractions and public transportation all within easy walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the $100 per hour charge for late checkout, which felt a bit steep. That said, we absolutely enjoyed our time here and would gladly come back!"
