'TownePlace is a solid chain. Love the amount of space and comfort these rooms have to offer. This particular hotel in Brooklyn is new (so the price it probably going to quadruple in the next month). The breakfast here was also a much welcomed part of stay. Looking forward to staying here again if the situation arises! '

'Everything about the hotel is excellent except'

'Comfy bed and terrific view from the 38th floor. Hotel is showing its age, however, the service from the staff is exceptional. Do bear in mind that a 'destination fee' or in other words a 'resort fee' is payable. It is mandatory and will set you back $35 (+ tax). The fee itself gives you $35 of value to use in the eateries in the hotel, but it won't stretch far. Buffet breakfast costs a whopping $50 + tax, service charge and gratuity...That's an expensive breakfast for a family of 4! ;-)'

'Prachtige locatie en zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De kamer zelf was niet heel erg goed onderhouden. De kamer voelde niet echt aan als die van een sterrenhotel. De lobby daarentegen zag er prima uit. Fijne ruimte om te wachten. Housekeeping was echt prima in orde. Informatievoorziening bij inchecken had uitgebreider gekund.'
