'The room is divided into basically 3 sections. A Living/Dining area with one small table, 2 chairs, a small refrigerator and a very small microwave; the bedroom with two night stands and a wall mounted TV; and the bathroom. No coffee maker and there is no continental breakfast so you're on your own there. There is also a reasonably sized closet although no hangers are provided. Take your own shampoo, they only provide soap and towels.
No real issues with cleanliness, room and shower both...

'I wish I could upload the pictures I took. The furniture was stained and gross. The place smelled of mold. What was really upsetting was the pictures online were beautiful. Once I walked in the kitchen was a dump. The bathroom was gross. I immediately tried to speak with somebody. I was only able to text. They did offer me another suite. I immediately declined. I just wanted to go home. I wish I could have gotten my money back. It is what it is. I know the place was super cheap for the weekend....

'The location is wonderful! Clisecwalking distance to beach. 2 outdoor pools also avaliable. A fenced in area with cabana loungers, cannot reserve though, but if you go down and 'set up' no body bothers your stuff and you dont need a lot of stuff because youre so close to where you stay. The bungalows are excellent, fully equipped with a kitchenette.reasonably priced, even beach towels are provided. Restaraunts, Bars, & Shops are within a few blocks walking abd there is a golf cart rental place...

'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...

'We loved Sand Castle, we were greeted by friendly staff who let us check in early so we could enjoy the pool. The motel was a little older but rooms were clean and comfortable, beautiful location, great pool and beachfront. Easy free parking for guests and lots of restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. It was a great few days and we would definitely stay again. Thank you. 😊 '

'We happen to have a room that you could see the ocean and the rooms are very spacious with a microwave a fridge a little two top oven, which we wouldn’t use but the fridge in the microwave are very handy. This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I really enjoy it. Good location and a nice spot.'
