'We loved the location and proximity to Uvic. The home and backyard were beautifully manicured and clean. The walkway was nice and wide. Quiet neighborhood and convenient location to get into the city and back with a car. I would recommend setting out a brand new sponge to wash dishes with and to upgrade some the hand towels. Overall, it met our needs and we would stay here again. '

'We enjoyed this property for 2 weeks in June-July, including the Canada day holiday. Large covered deck overlooking tidal lagoon is very relaxing. Enjoyed the Canada Day events in Sidney and riding bikes to Swartz Bay ferries for day trips. We may well return next summer. If we go again we would check tide table ahead of time for afternoon paddleboarding. Interior of property comfortable. '

'From the moment we walked in, we all felt very comfortable in this house. The layout was easy - just some stairs up to everything on one level. There is an ensuite powder room off the master bedroom which was perfect for the elderly family members we were travelling with. The second bedroom was also comfortable and had some fantastic books for kids. The kitchen had everything we needed. 'Great location- Right downtown Sidney, lots of restaurants, stores and waterfront nearby. No air conditioning but opening the window and turning the fan on kept us cool. Easy check in and checkout. '

'Property was conveniently located in a quiet area of Sidney close to the ocean front walking path. It was clean quiet, had most items needed for a 2 week stay. Could have used a few more dishes. The only problem area was the living area couch, it was very uncomfortable. We would highly recommend it.'

'Beautiful ocean-front property just steps from great parking for our 2 vehicles. Cowibbean Cottage is well set up with harbour views from the bedrooms, living room, and bunkie. We spent lots of time on the deck, eating our meals while watching the tide come and go. Looking down, we saw crabs and other creatures as the water cleared and lowered. We saw seals swim past, a heron land nearby, a bald eagle fly overhead, and lots of swallows, and seagulls. No mosquitoes, which is probably due to the...
