The lobby is stunning, and the corridors feel like they transport you to a different era, with elegant marble floors… It could easily be a museum. 'I had a nice two night stay at the Blackstone. It’s well maintained, clean and staff are friendly. It’s near the river and was a 5-10 minutes walk to the Art Institute and Auditorium Theatre. Bath products were lovely and the robe was so comfy. I was a solo female traveller and I felt very safe and comfortable at this property. Two small considerations: the restaurant closes by 10. Coming home from the theatre, it would have been nice to have a nightcap option that didn’t require an uber ride....

'There was no where to warm your food up. Hotel ran out of microwaves. Only one elevator was working. '
