'We stayed in the "Upper Deck" suite and it was perfect for us. We loved having our coffee on the balcony with the view of the water. It was clean, comfortable, and an easy walk to the beach or main strip of town. Excellent coffee and plenty of restaurants and shops are a very short walk away while the site is peaceful and feels removed from the tourist area. 'We had a wonderful time - the kids loved having a pool outside their door and pickleball court. The fishing spot was beautiful on the river. Near plenty of restaurants and some parks too. Heidi was a great host! '

It is a great location for walking to the main strip of shops & restaurants, with still being calm & quiet (minus the construction project going on at the time, but the owner was very up front about it which we appreciated) We enjoyed walking to the Chinook Pier & some of our favorite places to eat were Lucy's, Kirby House, Snug Harbor, & Morning Star Cafe. 'This is perfect place if you are looking to relax on a lake. Plenty of space in the house, so close to water front. The lake is small - we could paddleboard around the whole thing and small enough to swim in the open waters and feel safe. The water is warm and clear, and perfect for little kids. They can fish right off the dock. Only complaint is the paddle boat and kayaks need a little updating. Kids are already asking when to return. They loved the bunk room!'

'Perfect location right by the crosswalk and light by the entrance to the state park. Easy walking distance to downtown and harbor. A couple of the cement steps need some attention, but overall condition of unit was great. Maybe add an AC unit of some kind in the second bedroom? Really enjoyed our stay.'

'We enjoyed a wonderful week in Michigan. The house was pretty, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The property was beautiful with easy access to the beach. There are 42 steps down to the beach that might be difficult for some. We had great fun using the paddle boards and the water lily. We heartily recommend this property and hope to return ourselves. Very special place. '

I could have sat outside all day and watched the water. The rooms were perfect. The communication was great and check in and out were a breeze. '

The property had everything we needed, could use some upgrades to the patio furniture ..of the two chairs provided, when we moved the back cushion of one we noticed the entire backing was blown out, and the second one began to crack during our stay, so we had to get creative with borrowing chairs from my brother who fortunately lives in town.
