"Perfect spot just outside Cooperstown - double queen room was spotless, great shower, enjoyed a lovely dip in the pool. We were able to use the mid-size refrigerator/freezer to store grocery supplies, which allowed for on-site breakfast and lunch prep. The views of the lake - fabulous! "

"The general area is a dump, which sadly makes someone think that this Red Roof must also be a dump...but it's not. I stayed in the back building and the room was spotless, had a nice kitchenette that had a sink, fridge and microwave, which is more than I typically get in a room. Bed was comfortable. I didn't get to use the pool but it looked clean and well-maintained. Exterior needs some work to make it look as nice on the outside as on the inside. I'd stay here again without batting an eye!"

"The place was clean, close to things, lots of parking, friendly staff. The shower was excellent, very good water pressure and nice even flow. The key card works every time, some hotels or motels I’ve stayed at, it’s hit or miss whether it works or not. I would stay here again although the price was on the high side. Breakfast was included although it was all carbs on the offering, no bacon and eggs. I opted out and went looking for a Denny’s, found one in Schenectady."
