'The hotel was clean.'

'Filthy… food on the floor… bathroom was dirty… requested to be cleaned… elevator out of order… hall restrooms out of order… old comforters with cigarette burns in them… wall are filthy… rust on the lamps… ac unit cover fell off of the wall… dirty particles of trash in the ac unit. Light switches and plugs as well as cooling unit had visible dirt on them. I could go on and on… I purchased cleaning supplies and Clorox wipes to make livable for 3 nights. Keep in mind, we paid $481 for 3 nights...

'Great location and this is my favorite Kansas City hotel but i didn’t get a shower cap because a hospitality kit was not provided. There wasn’t a coffee machine or kettle provided, though I asked twice at the reception. No mugs either. And room service was skipped for almost 2 days until I asked. We ran out of soap and toilet paper.'

'The first room did not appear to be completly clean and was not in great shape as the floor was damaged, the deadbolt was stuck open so the door wouldn't shut, and it needed a fresh coat of paint etc. I alerted the staff and was immediately moved to a room on the second level that was the same room but in much better shape. 'My husband, daughter, and I had a very nice stay here. The hotel was clean, and the pool and fitness room were nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to Country Club Plaza, which is a nice area for shopping/dining and access to transit.'

'The Aida is a beautiful boutique hotel. It is close to the KC streetcar & the art museums. It is well maintained, the rooms are spacious & the staff is very helpful. Cookie treats & fruit are provided as well as Expresso coffee. Regular coffee would be a nice addition.'
