'This is the the most wonderful place for an 'escape'. Miles from anywhere but in the middle of the most beautiful Devon countryside. The welcome was lovely, the room was superb - as was the breakfast - in all the perfect stay.The local pub in tremendous and do very nice food but you will need to drive, the walk back would be a challenge after a few.'

'We had a brilliant stay here just after Christmas for 6 nights. The cottage was spotless, really comfortable, and had everything we needed—it felt like a proper home away from home. The kids absolutely loved feeding the farm animals every morning (so did we!) it was such a fun way to start the day and definitely made the stay extra special. Carolyn and Carl were fantastic hosts—so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a family...

'No communication from host despite emailing several times, no access details received. Could not find property. Vrbo support contacted him to be informed house wasn’t ready to hire. Stranded 12 of us in Devon at 6pm on Friday evening of BH weekend, including baby and dog. Absolute nightmare! Only given 1 star as 0 stars wasn’t an option. '

'We stayed on the Combestone Farm for five days and it was a glorious experience. The location is ideal for exploring Dartmoor’s unique landscape, whether you want to go for long hikes or short strolls with children. We began multiple hikes starting directly from the farm. Annabelle was very helpful to us in planning our hikes and she provided helpful insights and recommendations based on our requirements. She is the most wonderful of hosts. We were immediately made to feel a part of her family...
