'The only good thing about this hotel is the location if you are going to a sporting event. If you generally like Holiday Inn Express, lower your expectations. Old, outdated and in need of major renovation. I think it was clean but it was hard to tell from how old everything was. Carpet looks to be from the 80s, and not in a cool vintage way. The blow dryer in the room was rusted, the shower had broken off shelves, there were paint splatters on the walls and it was definitely not Dove products...

'Adorable little hotel, only about a dozen rooms and unstaffed but quiet and discreet. Rooms are sheik and the beds are fantastic (like really comfortable). Probably the best part is the location, just a few miles from Union Station, the Jazz District, downtown and the WW1 museum with a great coffee shop across the street.'

'I have stayed at this property before and have always had a positive experience. Unfortunately, this stay was different due to ongoing safe installations in the guest rooms. Beginning around 7:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, the sound of drilling was constant and continued until we checked out around 11:00 a.m. What was most disappointing was that we were never informed of this work at check-in. Starting such a noisy project so early in the morning, especially on a weekend, was disruptive to guests...

When to a recommended fabulous restaurant within walking distance for amazing Italian food and ambience. It is a very eclectic and young area.'

'Allowed us to check in early. Staff were all amazing. Room was clean. Only issue was that the room smelled like marijuana so bad it gave us a headache.
