'Pretty view of the bay from the screened in porch. Good space for our family. Very clean. Mattress in master bedroom was uncomfortable, but that was the only bad part. Downe is remote with barely any grocery/restaurants. It is an authentic, small fishing village. Beach is very narrow. But it is quiet and peaceful. We drove about an hour to Ocean City, NJ so our kids had more to do.'

'The home was clean with a welcoming atmosphere. Little helpful friendly notes were posted. The owner was responsive with questions. The basic condiments in the fridge, tea & coffee, water bottles, and bathroom toiletries were thoughtful provisions for short term stays. Having on site parking was a huge advantage.'

'Great place. Sunset unreal. Host is great.'

My daughter rented a house nearby and we tapped into her amenities.'

'Really liked the location and the home. I’d definitely stay here again'

No central air but there are units in every room, they are on the louder side but keep the house really cold. 2. There are only bunk beds but one has a full size...

'House was well maintained and perfect for what we needed. We really loved the back patio and yard!!'

'Nice location on the water for a spring weekend with our kayaks! Accommodations were very comfortable and convenient.'

'Spotless and so cozy. It was like coming home. Our host was communicative and kind. We’d love to come back.'

'Our time here was an attraction in itself. There were so many small details. I won't mention all of them as I don't want to spoil the surprise but one of our favorites was a telescope pointed towards an ocean piling where birds frequently perch. The house felt interactive and playful. There were snacks and beverage options (including tea, coffee, water, and even other surprises) available. Very clean. One consideration is the stairscase. I would advise caution for those with mobility issues (bad...
