'I booked this property for a family get together. The particulars stated it had a 'Recent complete renovation' however on approaching the property it looked run down and shabby. Once inside it was the same, chipped and grubby paintwork throughout, doors, door frames and stair banister. Several of the walls didn't look as if they'd been painted for a long time. 'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is full of charm and character and had something to offer to each of our mixed group. The gardens are also lovely, not overly manicured, lovely to stroll around, although difficult to keep the keep the dog out of the pond - but perhaps I shouldn't mention that! The house has a big, warm, welcoming and comfortable personality and we hope to be able to return in the future.'
