'Wonderful home on beautiful grounds. Wonderful cazebo overlooking a creek boardering the rear of the property. Sandra met us shortly after we arrived inviting us in like family with a tour of the house and our room. Breakfast was marvelous with all you could want. '

'We loved our stay at the Mid-Century Retreat! The location was perfect—just minutes from downtown Lexington, yet set on a beautiful property with stunning mountain views. The house was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!'

'Very nice property,'

'Beautiful cabin on the river. We thoroughly enjoed our stay with extended family for Washington and Lee graduation week. The drive from Lexington to Goshen was beautiful as well.'

'Rooms are not very clean, a lot of dust and bugs everywhere in a bedrooms. Kitchen also dirty, kayaks outside was dirty , fishing rods broken , trash was left from previous guests downstairs! Grill not works on a day we check in. Patio area is full of pet hair everywhere on a floor , chairs and tables! Location is nice ! Housekeeping service is terrible! For the price we paid we expected to have more.'

'Property was newly opened/updated and staff is very pleasant! Love the local goods in the lobby and comfortable bedding. A wonderful place to stay- especially if you are visiting your student at Washington & Lee!'

'We only stayed one night, but it was conveniently located to the sites we wanted to see in Lexington and the breakfast was very good.'
