'Even though the weather wasn’t great during our stay, the home was perfect! Tied our 20’ boat up to the dock, great water access to fish, and the screened porch allowed us to still be outside regardless of the heavy thunderstorms during our stay. 'We had a great stay. We had my 84 year old father and mother and three adult children and spouses and 2 adult grandkids with their spouses. The house was plenty big enough and the walk to the dock was nice and flat. We stayed in June during a massive heatwave in the upper 90s each day. We would like to come back in the fall. The kitchen was stocked with everthing imaginable and loads of china. My mother was so excited. We ate on different china for each meal. '

'This property surpassed our expectations! It’s situated in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees, but just 5 mins from a little DG market for essentials. We spent the week floating around on the kayaks and paddle boards, sitting on the dock sipping iced teas watching out daughter attempt to fish, playing many games of pool, relaxing in the hot tub or reading and drinking coffee in the screened in porch. 'Perfect home for a family gathering. The dock was excellent with plenty of water toys; pool table was a hit along with the variety of indoor games; the screened in porch was awesome and so important to keeping out flying critters.'

The moment that I walked down the walkway from the car to the porch, I got actual goosebumps when I saw the panoramic view of the lake. 'The view of the cove from the deck was great and a short walk to the deck and water. The cove was shallow but we were able to dock the pontoon. The house is a short boat ride to town. It felt like we were in the woods but actually in a neighborhood. I would stay there again. '

Went to Lake Gaston Coffee, awesome scones and coffee. A very nice selection of wines for a coffee shop. Had dinner at Waterview in Littleton. Not far from house at all. Food was great.
