'The room smells clean as you come in, always a great start. Spotlessly clean. Rooms are ensuite with a little kitchen area, all decorated differently. We had a little table to eat at as well. Chocolates and home made Welsh cakes with milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Self check in with a pin code key box. Building felt secure. Great views of the hills from the top room. Street parking available just outside the front door. A couple of convenience stores very close. Great location for visiting...

'Absolutely loved staying at the retreat. Danny and Helen are extremely welcoming, nothing is too much trouble (even helped to fix my car) ((be careful reversing in and out of drive, can be quite tight)). Beautiful view to wake up to, beds very comfortable. Welcome pack extremely useful and offered fresh eggs daily from their chickens. Local walks are beautiful. Within about 30-40 minutes drive from Caerphilly castle, Aberfan, Abergavenny, Pontypool, Cardiff, Barry Island and many other places of...
