'This is a beautiful hotel that has old charm with modern amenities. I love that there a several options for food in the hotel and lots of great businesses and blue line access near by. The room wasn't huge but it was beautiful, comfortable and the beds were absolutely wonderful. A small complaint for me would be that do I wish the pool was larger. 'I was so happy when I arrived, great location, very clean and the ease and security was wonderful! Unfortunately during my stay the water heater died. One night I didn’t have hot water and the next morning I say them carrying the water heater out of the building. This was definitely distressing seeing as I was on a work trip. Despite the inconvenience I had a great stay and 747 lofts did make it right for me. '

'I need to somewhere to stay for a night in Chicago and found this place. It had a varying level of reviews but found the property more the suitable for what I paid. Easy to follow instructions to get in, clean, and convienent. They even provide ear plugs to drown out the sounds of the city.'

'Great location for exploring the city. Right on the blue line. Not great for relaxing-fire station across the street, expressway nearby with frequent honking. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from neighbors. No reliable luggage storage. Overall, I definitely recommend it, just don’t stay here if you want something really peaceful and relaxing.'

"This hotel is truly beautiful — Art Deco style, full of character and soul. The lobby is stunning, and the corridors feel like they transport you to a different era, with elegant marble floors… It could easily be a museum. It’s located downtown, and many sights are within walking distance. The subway and bus stops are also nearby. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom could use renovation. However, it’s a large hotel, and that comes with some downsides. There was a long queue for both check-in and check-out, as not all service desks were staffed. We stayed for four nights, but had to downgrade our room because it still wasn’t ready — even at 5 PM. There was no refund, and as compensation we were offered a free breakfast, which turned out to be just for one day. Very disappointing. Upon check-out, the bills I received showed additional charges of $352.26 for taxes and parking. However, my credit card was charged a total of €495.88 — significantly more than expected. I sent multiple messages via Expedia, but the hotel never responded. Since I was traveling through the U.S., I didn’t have the time to call and follow up properly. I sincerely hope the hotel will look into this and respond accordingly."
