'Very friendly staff. Nice room, clean, comfortable bed. Hotel well maintained. Complementary breakfast was fine. Wifi was slow. Sufficient parking space and easy access towards Lake Tahoe. All in all value for money. '

'So this hotel is normally a favorite of ours however this trip I was kind of a little disappointed. The desk light in our room didn’t work, the molding/trim on one long wall was missing, the toilet had difficulties flushing, the tv channels were weird to change, just little things were popping up. There is no longer coffee available in the rooms, the machine is there, but nothing to make coffee with. You have to go too the lobby to make, and it takes quite a while cause it grinds the grounds for...

'Nice, clean hotel with a good breakfast and good sized room. Only thing I didn’t like was the friendlyness of the staff. I think they got out on the wrong side of the bed or something. No nice welcome or explanation where to find everything, she just gave me my roomcard and that’s it. Not what I am used to by a Choice hotel.'

'I was expecting the outdated hotel for the price but I didn’t expect that my room will smell like an ashtray. Not sure what holds the management to steam clean the carpet and dry clean the curtains just to get rid of this terrible smell. If you are not on strict budget and need just a good sleep before early flight, do yourself a favor and use the hotel cross the street. The two positive things are the shuttle (available within 5 min with very friendly drivers) and very good Indian restaurant.'

'The room was nice, but there was something sticky on the carpet (eww). Upon arrival the hotel's booking system was down and we couldn't check in for over an hour. It was 109 degrees outside and so we sat in the breakfast area and waited. We did get one night compted but we had to ask for it, nothing offered without asking. The staff didn't seem to be trained in how to appropriately handle the down system situation, and in talking to another guest (with a disabled spouse) they had asked...
