'We only spent one night at the new margaritaville in KC but we instantly felt like we were on island time upon arrival. Check in was quick (room was even ready a couple of hours early), rooms are spacious and designed well for functionality, and the pool area was amazing even on a packed day. 'The carpet in our room was digusting. Worn and stained, I wouldnt even take my shoes off. When the sheets were pulled back to go to bed there were water bottle caps from previous stay still on the floor. The lamp between the beds was covered in dust. Otherwise the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean so I do appreciate that. But carpet definitely needs replacement.
