'I stayed three weeks and felt very much at home in Mel's Country Cottage. I was welcomed and was frequently greeted as I came and went, visiting family in the area. I can't think of any detail for comfort or convenience that was not available. The cottage is cozy and tastefully decorated. Since this visit was during the worst of winter weather, I didn't get to enjoy all the extras on the property that would be fun during warm, sunny weather, so I look forward to another stay during warm months. '

'While there are other houses visible, this property was extremely quiet and relaxing. Great location, "civilization" easily accessible...just a short drive. Hope to stay again when we're more physically mobile (one broken back and one broken leg... hopefully we'll be fully recovered soon). Plenty of historic sites nearby.'

'The house was very clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained, which we really appreciated during our stay. However, there were two downsides to be aware of. First, after booking, the owner asked us to pay an extra money for cleaning fee, even though it was not clearly listed in the Expedia booking details. I chose not to argue since I didn’t want to ruin our family trip, but future guests should expect additional charges. Second, privacy was an issue the owner lives in the basement, and it felt...

'I'm a relatively new VRBO client but I can say that this home was even better than portrayed in the photos and descriptions. It was on a very quiet street and was beautifully decorated - clean and comfortable. The kitchen could not have been better equipped, and it was a welcome surprise to have Prime on the TV. Highly recommend this property. '
