Budgethotels in Zuid-New Hampshire

'Budget hotel, and I would stay again. My experience was thus: Pros: Cheap (cheapest room around) Quiet (no one bothered me) Cold (the air conditioning worked great; stayed cool in very hot summer days) Location (walking distance to a Target, a sporting goods store, a steakhouse etc. It's not a sketchy area) Downtown Keene is just 5 minutes away. There are rotaries which you will likely have to drive through to get back and forth. The hotel price may attract ill-reputes, but everyone i saw...

'The room was comfortable but there was clearly someone smoking in a room nearby. The front desk said they checked for me, but could only offer us a bottle of febreeze for the smell. The breakfast was very limited. Hard to walk anywhere without having to cross a highway. I picked it for the outdoor pool. It was raining I couldn't use it (obviously not there fault) but there were significantly cheaper places around that would have been equal in amenities, other than the outdoor pool.'
