'Staff speaks poor English. You will not get any help with the luggage. They saw at check in that we are not young and yet they gave a room on the other side of the building. We couldn’t find our room and the man who took us to the room didn’t help us with the heavy luggage. 'Overall experience was very good. Near lake tahoe I dont think there are very modern facilities in CA side. This is an old building but the rooms are well maintained. One small tight Elevator. Parking is tight for big cars if you want shaded garage spaces. but open parking is also available. Rooms are Big and spacious. Bathrooms are clean. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. '

'The room was absolutely clean and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel is located perfectly on the main road, Virginia. Its also surrounded by great conveniences. (7-11, gas station, best buy, whole foods) That being said the area is quiet. Also the restaurant, Hot Chicks, is great! You Have to go in for a delicious meal. '

We werden supervriendelijk ontvangen en de kamers zijn goed schoon en voorzien van al het broodnodige. Alleen de wifi kan beter.
Het ontbijt is echt continentaal dus verwacht er niet teveel van."

"We had a comfortable stay at one of the luxury studio cottages. It was very cosy and we enjoyed the heating through the fireplace. The facilities were also very good and we enjoyed the comon fire-pit and making marshmallows. The location of the property is also very good in close proximity to Kings beach and Tahou city. "

We did use the sauna and swimming pool and liked both.

"2de keer in dit hotel maar deze keer viel het ons toch wel erg tegen. Handdoeken waar telkens haren in zaten. We hadden in eerste instantie een kamer waar echt overal vieze vlekken in het bed zaten en waarbij de wc niet schoon was gemaakt. 2de kamer was beter maar de accommodatie kan wel een upgrade gebruiken."
