'We went on the off season, but the restaurant in the resort was still open. The resort is right on the corner of the main street so it is close to shopping, dining, and Mirror lake! Very convenient. The parking was also very easy, and again put us right at main street so we walked to dinner every night. There is an indoor pool and hot tub at the main resort and also across the street at the Lodge. Staff was very friendly. Refreshments in the lobby and sparkling wine given to us at check in! '

'This hotel with a history offers great surroundings near Saranac lake, spacious, modern and clean family rooms, and friendly staff for a reasonable price. During our 3 week trip in July through north east of USA and Canada we planned to stay here for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We were very lucky with the weather ( 75 -82 F) but heard the winter period lasts long and is tough.'

'What an amazing place to stay , it’s absolutely beautiful and clean clean clean !!! There was not one spec of dust , dirt , grime anywhere !!! The corners of the floors and baseboards are spot free which are areas my eyes see especially in bathrooms, this place was spotless !!!! View of the mountains no matter which room you were in . Stayed in suite 8 which had the full view of the little park , and the most incredible view of the lake . I certainly appreciated how quiet the hotel was , we did...
