'Didn’t know it was a second floor unit so it made it hard for us to carry baby up and down stairs. Would’ve been nice to have known. Thought unit was clean but floors are dusty and when baby crawled everywhere, whole body turned dirty and all of us collected black dirt on feet. 'This is a very nice space ideally located near the Redondo Beach Pier area, which puts you within easy walking distance of more activities, shops, restaurants, etc. than you could fit into a single visit. I was already very familiar with the area, and having a comfortable and small space to use as home base was perfect. Communication about the unit and surrounding location was always good, and I never had a problem reaching out to the host. Really enjoyed the stay overall.'

'Let me preface my comments by saying that we have stayed in dozens of vacation rentals. The 360-degree views of the Palos Verdes peninsula to Malibu over the rooftops is wonderful, in addition to its proximity to Manhattan pier and the action. The unit was comfortable, the furniture is in good condition, and the kitchen was well stocked. But it is starting to show its age with worn cabinetry finishes, floor molding, rusted metal finishes (common near the ocean) and a bit of a smell (possibly...

'I received a cancellation notice on the morning of my check-in, one of the busiest weekends of the year on Hermosa Beach/ Manhattan Beach area. Got screwed royally. 'System error' they said. Yeah ok....I'm sure. I can't believe VRBO would let this happen.'

'We loved being directly on the beach in this super exclusive respite. While the area is rustic, the apt. was very clean and very comfortable. We slept soundly in the comfy bed amongst the waves crashing below. Felt safe with the cameras and key locks. Perfect for a staycation or writers retreat. '
