'The resort is absolutely gorgeous and is exactly as advertised. We found the atmosphere a little too quiet for our liking, would have preferred music or activities after dinner other than going back to our cottage.
Our real complaint came with the way guests were treated differently based on HOW the trip was BOOKED. We traveled with two other couples and they both booked directly, we booked through Expedia. The direct bookers were located in cabins with much better views while we were directly...

'Though not the most luxurious place I have ever stayed in, this vacation definitely owns a place in my personal top 3. Staff is friendly, and given the scale of the hotel the overall experience very intimate and personal. Rooms all have magnificent views, outdoor showers and overall comfort is good. Our room did have a ceiling fan that wasn't quite up to the task but all-in-all this did not affect the wonderful week we spent at Cocos. Food is excellent, give our greetings to Acarie.'
