'Our lakeside luxury room was beautiful and cozy. The staff and food in the restaurant were amazing. The bartender (Eli) and our server (Hope) were top notch. We will definitely be back.'

'The internet was down for my whole stay and the pool heater was broke: In the evening the night clerk was asleep and there was people wanting to check in ringing the bell. He finally appeared and you could tell he just woke up.'

'Everything was good except the pool for extremely cold and kids didn’t want to get in. Other guests were there too and complaining of same issue. The hot tub wasn’t hot either. It was just warm. They said it was due to them just having filled it but it took overnight for it to be warm. The pool never did get comfortable enough to swim in. This was the whole reason we stayed here. For our grandkids to swim. Very disappointed. '

'The hotel itself wasn’t dirty. The staff was awesome.. just can use more smell goods in the hallway and better cleaning services the hallways were filthy the carpet in the room when you took your socks off felt oily and greasy maybe a deep carpet clean '

'The hotel is aged, duct tape all over the carpet in the hallways, old cracks in the shower floor with built up crud, “stuffy” feeling of the air. No usb ports We usually choose Holiday Inn because HI has good quality and free breakfast. This was a total disappointment, no breakfast buffet, and aged building. There was no warm feeling - just an overall disappointment for the cost. I wish I would’ve paid $50 more for a different hotel. Or even the cheapest hotel was more updated than this...

'Staff is wonderful; from check in to check out. And Patsy, who shows up extra early to make the delicious breakfast, was so friendly and accommodating. (Thank you, Patsy!) Also, the coffee is FRESH and delicious! We would stay here again. '

'This is an older, worn down property. It seemed clean, but the outdated and well-used condition of the rooms and common spaces made this hotel fall short of what we typically experience at Best Western properties. Additionally, the front desk staff member announced my room number aloud with several other people standing in line behind me. This made me feel unsafe in my room as this is a major no-no in the industry to protect travelers. '

'As always the red roof was excellent except for one comment the owner made I was checking in after my brother. We had two rooms and we both have one dog apiece and he had both dogs with him. I was on my way and I called to let them know that I may not be able to get there until the next day allow him to check into my room just in case and he was like oh he has two dogs. They will tear up that room and I said no those dogs will not tear up that room. Those dogs are very well behaved they would...

'When I see the rooms I canceled directly the room and planned an other hotel. Dirty, old, defects, damaged non closing doors (frontdoor too), non smoking room smells to smoke.'

'The hotel is under renovations but the staff was excellent, attentive and explained the situation. We slept very well. They have a very nice included breakfast buffet. And excellent coffee. Thank you! '
