'Hotel was fantastic - location is ideal for snow access with one lift across the road (10 metres) and another two within a short walk. The runs at the resort at perfect for early beginners, but easily connect to the gondola for more experienced riders. Location is too far from restaurants to walk, a shuttle or taxi is required. We didn't mind, the food at the hotel was great and we preferred the excellent snow access. Staff were really helpful, picking us up from Hakuba Goryu and dropping us...

'This place is a great value for the price! It’s right in the heart of Echoland, which seems to be one of the trendier areas in the Hakuba Valley. There are shops and great dining options within a few blocks. There’s also a club right down the street, and one evening there was quite a bit of noise on the street when we were headed to bed. (Not sure fire long it lasted—it apparently wasn’t loud enough to keep me awake…) For the Dancru itself you just need to be aware of what it is. The rooms...

'Great location. 3 minutes walk to Iwatake gondola. Family room is quite big for 4 of us. Facilities are a bit old but well maintained. Dinners on site are very delicious but breakfasts are average. Onsen is a big plus, very nice after a day on the slopes. Staffs are kind and friendly too. '
