'The hotel was renovating, I really wish that hotels would mention renovation in the description. At first, we were given a room next to the renovation and the lady at the desk said they were only busy for a couple of hours that day. Since we booked for a few nights, and the renovation would continue the next day, we asked for a different room as far as possible from the noise. Luckily there was a room available where the noise could not be heard. Rooms were comfy and clean, Breakfast was amazing...

When we got to our room we had no toilet paper then the toilet was messed up we had to call for a plunger at 3am and again at 10:15 this morning then they left the plunger in front of the room door. Beds are very uncomfortable and the tv wouldn’t turn up or off smh. Our check out was at 11am at 10:52 someone was coming in our room and we were still getting ready to leave no knock or anything very uncomfortable and unprofessional…Yikes!!! '

'Our stay was disappointing from the moment we arrived. We checked in during the evening when the hotel was not busy, yet we still had to wait several minutes because the front desk receptionist (I believe her name was Debby) was apparently at the gas station on the corner. During that time, the hotel entrance and desk were left completely unattended, which felt unsafe and unprofessional. Although this is advertised as a smoke-free property, the receptionist was smoking behind the counter, and...

'I come for only an overnight stay-less than 12 hrs. I rest for a long ride home. Everyone is always pleasant and helpful.'

'1st room was not set up after the previous guest left. 2nd room had no towels in the bathroom, and the floor hadn’t been cleaned. Probably will not return, as there are 5 other options within 2 miles.'

'Moat disgusting hotel ever. Literally a trap house. Disgusting and dirty. Never seen anything like it. No lights in building other than room. Dirty with food and trash all over the place. Mold in the showers and room. I literally slept in my truck with my doors locked. This hotel should be taken off hotels.com and the cops should clear it out.'

'We used this small and cozy house as our"home base" to celebrate christmas with our out of town family. Bruce was very receptive and allowed us to extend our checkout time. The house itself was comfortable, he did a great job renovating it. It met our basic needs. We are used to staying at VRBOs that really spoil their guests, but I think Bruce can easily become a 5 star host if he employs a ' woman's touch' to address those small details that were lacking.'
