'We chose this hotel because they accepted pets. We paid $20 per night to have our dog with us. It was obvious that our room was a “pet room” the second we opened the door. The room smelled horrible. Like a kennel. We stayed because it was close to family but the smell was overwhelming and we stayed out as much as possible. Bought air freshener that helped for a short while but did not last long. Couldn’t recommend staying here unless you can’t smell.'

'The hotel is unique in that it used to be a middle school. It has a school feel to it which is fun. However, the room felt dirty, and it felt like there was no staff anywhere. Almost felt like we were walking the halls of an abandoned hotel. We always had to wait for someone to come to the desk or we were directed to the restaurant for anything we needed (which was also empty until someone came out). Rooms were clean, but like every motel needed updating, but clean.
