'Hotel is iets verouderd, badkamer erg klein, deur raakt het toilet bij het open en dicht doen. Zwembad was erg mooi met fijn warm bubbelbad. Service perfect. Prima adviezen over wat er te doen was, waar we zeker heen moesten en waar we konden eten. Supermarkt aan de overkant van de straat. Verder geen restaurant in de buurt, dat was jammer, maar met de auto binnen een kwartier bij een restaurant.'

'PRO's: - Check-in staff nice - Room clean and well-maintained - Shower vs. tub-shower - Bathroom countertop space sufficient - Kitchenette (but you must separately ask for stove top and pans) - Desk CON's: - Narrow gravel driveway to get to hotel entrance - Overhang at entrance for vehicle is only about 12 foot square. Not even one car can fit under that. Pouring rain at check-in, unable to stay out of the rain. - HVAC worthless. Set to even number temperature and get heat. Set to odd number...

'Great breakfast'

'All the main features were fine-comfy bed, clean, and good value, but some updates and repairs are still needed. The faucet’s hot/cold settings were installed in the opposite direction. Also, there is spotty staffing at the reception desk. We had to wait a while to check in because no one was at the front desk. Same for check out! Maybe a weekend when there were too few scheduled? Would still stay again though because of the price.'

'We stayed at The Buxton for a few days while our daughter is at Denison, and the location could not have been more convenient. It sits in the heart of Granville’s historic downtown, right across from The Granville Inn for lunch or dinner.Breakfast at The Buxton was delicious, and the staff were helpful, professional, and genuinely kind. The inn itself is beautiful and charming, with a warm personal feel that made our stay so special.We also noticed the renovations underway and can’t wait to see...

'Don't be fooled by the early '90s decor, this is a lovely hotel where you're greeted with a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie after a long journey, making you feel instantly welcome. The personal touch at DoubleTree is truly charming. While the room feels a bit outdated and the air conditioning/heating makes some odd noises that might keep you up at night, overall, it was a pleasant stay.'

'The beds were comfortable, the shower felt amazing, the blackout curtains actually made the room dark, and the room was clean, but the breakfast was horrible. Consistently overcooked every day, almost to the point of being burnt. Food items ran out before breakfast hours were over and the juices were watered down. Worst breakfast I’ve ever had at a Holiday Inn. It’s usually decent! Very disappointing. Other than that, we were happy with our stay.'

'Upon arrival, there was no toilet paper in my room whatsoever not even on the holder. The bathroom door does not stay closed and the shower door does not stay closed. The sink faucet is very weird as it just gets all over the floor either needs to have a longer faucet or it needs to be in the middle.'
