'Check in is at exactly 4pm, no earlier. They will email you if you'd prefer an early check in, pay $30. But I did see guests had paid and still waited til after 4 to check in. Front staff at reception there was one woman who was very rude and non welcoming. Right at 4pm there was a huge line of guests waiting to check in. Not very smooth or ideal way to have guests arriving.'

'The staff couldn’t be more kind and helpful. The property is very clean and well maintained. Has a really nice pool and outdoor shower. Was able to park on the property but keep in mind some rooms have off site parking. The bedding was comfortable and the shower was great. I've been staying at The Hampton House Hotel for the last 6 years and I'll be looking forward to my next stay! 'Great place to stop if you're looking to be close to the tri-state area, going to Boston or just road-tripping. The staff were exceptionally kind and offered a microwave as an amenity when we needed one to heat up our leftover food. They even came to bring it. Housekeeping was thorough and rooms smelled clean. 'Fairly new'

'We enjoyed our overnight at Lamie's. We stayed in the older section and the brick wall and 4 poster beds added a homey, authentic feel to the vibe of the Old Salt Tavern next door. Beds comfortable, room clean. The rooms & bathroom are a little small but perfect if your plan doesn;t include spending lots of time in your room. We came to visit friends in the area and had lunch and dinner at the Old Salt which was really convenient to just come downstairs rather than having to drive somewhere...

'The staff member who checked us in was so accommodating and helpful. We had our 94 year old mother with us in a w/c. SHE was able to get us a first floor room at no extra charge. I would definitely recommend this place !'

'Beds were clean and comfy but rest of room and hotel are not. Soft spots in hall way. Smoke smell coming inside from people sitting outside at all hours smoking. Very thin walls can hear other people. Bathroom walls were not clean, and tub was chipped, and there are cracks and gaps throughout room walls and ceiling. It was one of our only options, not worth the money and I won't go back.'
