'We had rented two adjoining Bayside rooms. Bedsheets had stains in one room. The other room had numerous stains on the rug. Ceiling shows bad patching and paint was old and yellow. Otherwise not bad for a place to just sleep and pass through. Price was unreasonably high but expected for prime season. All rentals in the beach areas of Delaware sky rocketed this year compare to last year rates at the same time.'

'The hotel was clean and parking was fine! The staff was pleasant. The breakfast left something to be desired. The room was clean. The bed was not very comfortable and the bathroom really didn't have enough room on the counter. My biggest complaint with the bathroom was the shampoo, conditioner and body wash was very difficult to squeeze. Not really great for anyone with arthritic hands. I understand trying to be green, but you need to make that part a little easier for older adults.'

'The rooms were clean and cozy! We liked the breakfast, cold water accessible all day, and the Blue Hen was fantastic! My only complaint was the noise from the drunken patrons of the bar next door. We stayed at the Avenue II, and almost every night around 1am, people were yelling and screaming outside the bar. I thought there was a noise ordinance preventing that. We’d stay here again but in the main hotel.'

'This place is a blast from the past, but in a good way! They haven't updated the look of the place (the bathroom still has the old heat lamp with a timer!), but everything was super clean, the room was large, the bed was comfortable and the furniture clean, and the AC was quiet and worked well. But the best nostalgic part was the staff! They were super friendly and helpful about things to do etc., and you could see them working hard around the hotel. They definitely cared about the place and...
