Kies je hotel in Town of Varick

'Very friendly; loved that there was always cold pitchers of water in the downstairs fridge. Breakfast was good'

'Second time here and still great!'

'Nice cabin'

'We loved this property because it was right on the lake, and we could hear the water at night. We were not able to enjoy the was this time but the view from the balcony was wonderful in the morning drinking our coffee. I would suggest leaving coffee for the guests. Also filling the decorative tissue box in the bathroom with tissues.'

'Really enjoyed our stay! Met the owners and they were very nice to chat with. My daughter in her Kayak nearly caught brown trout that was around 30". Unfortunately it broke her line as she tried to get it in the Kayak. Varick is the prettiest location along Cayuga Lake. As an older guy with some serios medical issues it would have been nice to a bath/toilet on the first floor as it was difficult to climb the stairs to get to the two full beautiful bathrooms upstairs.'

'This house suited our needs well for a gathering of my siblings, their spouses, and a couple members of the next generation. The houses location is secluded with a view of the lake about 1/4 mile away. The vehicle traffic on the road and in the area is relatively light so getting out for exercise walks or strolls was easy to do. Useful information about the house to consider is that the bath and two bedrooms upstairs are up quite steep stairs - given our ages (most in our 70‘s), this could...

'Loved this house for our families. For a group of 18. It was perfect and the owners are amazing'

'Beautiful lakeside vacation rental. Perfect for a relaxing family getaway'

'Great girls weekend at the French cottage! This location is wonderful and close to many wineries. The place is decorated with such detail. Would rent again and again.'

'I visited for a girls weekend with my 2 friends. The house itself was nice but farther from the wineries than I thought. The BIGGEST disappointment was not being able to use the hot tub. The listing didn’t specify it was seasonal and it was the main factor as to why we picked this house…we were looking forward to using it each night and were not able to. When I contacted the company I got a response later the following day, but not with a solution to rectify the problem. Needless to say, I...

'The cabin was very clean and quiet. Kitchen was very well stocked if you wanted to cook. We were very appreciative of the air conditioning as the temp was well into the 90's while we were there. The cabin stayed at a very comfortable temperature. Thank you for a great visit! Marcy'

'The host responded very quickly. The house was very clean and exceeded expectations. Fireplace and dock was an added bonus! Would definitely stay again'

'Very good for a three generation family stay'

'Nice property in a location which we felt was central to a lot of places of interest that we wanted to check out (relatively short rides to Ithaca, Seneca Falls, Watkins Glen, and Geneva). It comfortably fit 6 of us (4 adults and two children). '

'Our host provided us with great suggestions for dining out and responded immediately to our questions.'

'Great property - right on the water. Really really enjoyed having a campfire on the stone beach next to the lake. Excellent night time lighting, just enough to illuminate the steps and docks without being obtrusive.Any questions or requests were dealt with promptly and professionally by Cate (management company).Cleaning crew does a fantastic job, house was nice and clean. The white bed linens were crisp and fresh. Towels all in great condition.Lots of extra's in the house - garbage bags,...

'Great views! Everything inside is old and worn. The outside property needs lots of Tender loving care.'

'Nice location; home is bare bones as far as furniture and decor. The bedding could use upgrading in every room - very cheap and uncomfortable. There is not a major emphasis on guest comfort with this rental - it is evident that the priority is how to rent a home in the cheapest way possible. Upstairs bathroom shower needs maintenance as it does not function without a screaching noise going the entire time it’s on, and the water pressure is low. Closet is locked in upstairs bunk room so don’t...
