'This is a very unconventional arrangement for a hotel. It does not even have a reception desk. The owner, who lives remotely, provides entry and room door combinations. Fortunately, he reached me via phone when I was on the road. IMO, however, booking services (e.g., trivago, expedia) need to ascertain that as part of the booking process and forewarn clients of the unconventional nature of this place.'

'This was supposedly the last room available for the night. We had been driving 11 hours and needed a place to stay before we hit Buffalo, NY. Light bulb missing in the entryway, bathroom had dried splatter on the mirror and a dirty film on the counter. The tables were wobbly and the microwave was dirty inside. The parking lot had 2 broken down vehicles and a tent. '

'Bad odor/dust from AC, shower floor dirty and full of hair, empty soap bottle, heavy dust/moist smell from carpet, needed ac but couldn’t use because of dust. Fridge door don’t seal close. Room dingy/MOLD!!'

'The hotel was renovating, I really wish that hotels would mention renovation in the description. At first, we were given a room next to the renovation and the lady at the desk said they were only busy for a couple of hours that day. Since we booked for a few nights, and the renovation would continue the next day, we asked for a different room as far as possible from the noise. Luckily there was a room available where the noise could not be heard. Rooms were comfy and clean, Breakfast was amazing...
