'Asked for ocean view but of all the visitors checked in we got the worst view. Wondered how that is decided? Outside our balcony was a roof. Could see ocean if you looked to the right.'

'1661 is a great hotel. It is the kind of place that is homey and calm, an escape from the fast past that can be at block. The staff is caring and very professional. The inn keeper makes each stay personable and welcoming. We have stayed here before and we will again!'
