'We recently bought a camper and have been traveling around Central Texas looking for a lake to buy some property on. This was our first time at Lake Whitney. It is a pretty lake, close to family and very laid back and relaxing. The RV spot is large and shady, with a firepit and all the hookups necessary. It is a great location, in the neighborhood close to Whitney Ridge marina. We will definitely be back soon!'

'Waco Creekside is close enough to Waco and the other attractions in the area but far enough out to enjoy the natural setting. While it is still clearly new with more amenities to come, the cabins and treehouses are very well done with a lot of attention paid to the details that make it a great home base for exploring. We stayed in a treehouse that was small but well executed. We would definitely go back for future trips to the area.'

'My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous weekend away in Waco. The property was beautiful, clean, and overall a great place to stay. You’re close to the highway to get to whatever interest you such as the Silos, shopping, food/restaurants, etc. We’ll definitely be booking again in the future.'

'In the evening, after dark, there were lots of motorcycles that seemed to be very close and very loud! Actually, it scared us. Also, first thing in the early morning, here come the large riding lawn mowers. We had wanted to get away, out in the country away from big city noises, but low and behold it all seemed to come with us!'

We came in for a 1 night stay because I was visiting my sister in Hobby Unit Prison which is 40 min away. 2 hours before we checked in the property manager called me personally to let me know that the unit I originally wanted (The Starling) was having problems with electricity and that the lights were not working. He gave me the choice of two of treehouses and I chose the CedarWaxling. All and all I am happy with our stay despite moving cabins. It has...
