It was very close to the beach, but tucked in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the quaint but vibrant downtown. As advertised, the parking space was tight, but a medium size SUV could fit in nicely, and any parking in Capitola is a big bonus!!'

'Lovely spot within short walking distance to the beach to view the surfers, walk along the beach and watch the sunset. Its dog beach was our first stop when we arrived to Santa Cruz. It was great. Hiked in the forest of Nicene Marks to see Redwoods and Aptos creek day after a rainstorm. The Felton train trip was canceled due to high winds, but the Santa Cruz boardwalk train was running on Saturday as well as the rides which my granddaughter loved. 'Checkin was easy and painless, the cabin itself is quiet and very relaxing. It had a full kitchen and we were able to prepare groceries there without issue. The road to get in/out seemed daunting, but our two wheel drive rental car made it fine even during intense rain. Michael was a great host and I would absolutely stay here again!'
