'Lovely hotel unique and very good staff The only recommendations are that they have to give hotel guests prefference in one of the restaurants and make up the beds every day and close the corridor for people who are not staying in the hotel. Very noisy in the corridors in the evening '

'Stay away from this Crowne Plaza. It is very outdated and the level of cleanliness of the property is disappointing. My room had a strong mildewy smell. While the staff offered me another room, it smelled mildewy as well. The vents in the room had some black substance. I reached out to the manager to complain and he never returned my calls or texts. 'We’ve had an excellent stay, very walkable to Old Town San Diego, good restaurants in the direct area. The pool is a bit small though, San Diego zoo and the SS Midway are very close. The staff is very friendly and very nice and helpful, they give you great tips of the area. We stayed in a room facing away from the freeway, and slept with the windows open, no disturbing noises.'
