'Eenvoudig motel, maar erg leuke en meerdere loungeplekken aan de rivier en met vuurkorven. Erg gezellig! Vriendelijk.personeel. wel onthouden, er is in de omgeving niks qua eten of boodschappen. Dat is op minimaal 30 minuten rijden!'

'We needed a place for one night as hop to Death Valley. We could not have picked a nicer place. This motel is so well decorated and comfortable. It was not my taste but done so well that it didn't matter. It just embraces you like a warm cardigan. This was also because of the very friendly manager. It is a bit "out of town" but just across the street is a good place, Riverkern General Store" to have a meal, breakfast and where you can get almost everything.'

'The check-in instructions were a lot more complicated on the website than they actually were in person. Everyone was very nice, especially the manager Ed. We chatted for a while a couple of times over my stay, telling me about the history of the area, things to do etc. I would stay again!'

'ooh... that's horrible. there are a lot of weird people around. On the first floors people live permanently. I was worried about the safety of my family and the car. The beds were clean but the room had a bad smell. it is very different from the pictures on the website.'

'Had a pleasant stay - easy check in, parking, very pleasant staff, pastries and coffee for breakfast, clean, quiet even when sold out - only thing was the pool was out of order - out of their control otherwise it would be 5 star!'

"Unfortunately, the pool area was very disappointing. More than half of the sun loungers were completely broken: either the seat or the backrest was damaged and unusable. The covers of the parasols were scattered around the pool area and simply thrown onto the broken loungers, which made the space look very neglected. Only one lounger had a cushion available, which is far from sufficient for guests who want to relax by the pool. I strongly recommend that the hotel invest in new, sturdy sun loungers and remove all the broken ones, it’s really not a pleasant sight. It would also be great if guests could receive a proper-sized pool towel instead of the very small towels currently provided, which are far too small to lie on comfortably. This would really improve the pool experience for future guests."
