'The location feels very remote although it’s within miles of a grocery store & town. We stayed upstairs.The beds were comfortable & there was plenty of space for the 4 of us to have personal space. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, dishes and seasonings. The drip coffee maker works like a charm. It did get a little warm inside in the afternoons, even with the air conditioner, due to all of the windows for the natural light and the beauty of the outside. The windows open on all four...

'This house was better than the pictures showed. The master bedroom was immaculate. It was about a 10 minute drive to tons of cool destinations for kids. There is even a trail you can walk in the neighborhood that makes you feel like you’re in a forest. We got personal text updates and check-ins from a real person. For the price, this is the place to stay at South Lake. '

'Absolutely loved this Chalet. Very spacious and clean. Loved the deck and views nestled in the trees. Wood burning stove/ fireplace was nice touch for chilly evenings.Close to Murphys and The Calaveras Big Trees. We stayed for three nights and wished we would have stayed longer. 'The house was a great place to stay for a family. The view was beautiful and the location was great. It was 30 min to the village, glacier point and Sequoia trees. The only struggle was going up the steep hill to park at the house. '

'This cabin is tucked away in the best spot, close enough to enjoy all Lake Tahoe has to offer with the feeling of a perfect mountain escape. The hot tub was delightful after a long day enjoying all the beautiful scenic hikes within minutes of the cabin and surrounding the lake. The host is kind and helpful and very responsive. 'We loved our stay at the Stonehaus. It's a great little cabin, conveniently located, that has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We especially loved the hot tub and my son loved the game room. The adjoining meadow is just beautiful, although you do hear cars from nearby Hwy 4 when you're sitting outside. Overall, a great little cabin that families will surely enjoy!'

'Our family of 17 had a fabulous time in these 2 beautiful properties. The two families with teens shared one house, and the family with littles and us shared the other. Kitchen was well stocked with coffee and everything we needed, and the expresso machine was a HUGE hit! We loved the amenities! - Game room, paddle boards and kayaks and a free of charge lake with a beach within a few miles. Plenty of room in the houses for family gatherings and meals, and we even had a family church...

'We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. Everything inside was perfect. The outdoor patio with the spa was a nice touch. We walked to Kings Beach everytime we went and avoided the traffic and parking tickets. Neighborhood felt safe and was quiet. '
