'The cabin was the perfect place to stay after our rafting adventure. Loved the oversized kitchen table. We were all able to eat together, play games, etc. Wish we had stayed another night to explore more of the local scenery. The owner was easy to communicate with through the whole process, and even went the extra mile to return an item to us that was left behind. Overall, a lovely stay.'

'I could not be more satisfied with the experience we had during our short stay. It was actually very nice to be more in the quiet Cove vs the main lake area… Paddling via canoe or kayak to the main lake area and swimming off of the island there was quite special.'

'We booked this escape as a 1/2 way point between family in NJ and MA and what a hidden gem it is! Dog friendly was a priority, but the magic of this place was a welcomed surprise. All weekend we commented on wishing we stayed longer and that we must come back to really enjoy the property and cozy feel that warms the soul! The cabin is meticulously maintained and it is very clear that the family loves their home away from home! Can’t wait to return!!'

'This house is adorable and was perfect for our stay over a camp visiting day weekend. Our teenage son loved the loft area. The house is very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. 'Beautiful views from all the windows, quiet, private, clean and comfortable! Well worth a three day stay in October with all the leaves changing colors. Kayaks provided were so appreciated, allowing us to paddle around the whole lake and enjoy the colors and views even more. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were ideal for my elderly mother. Great towns within easy drive, lots to explore!'

Reached by a several miles-long dirt road that is exceptionally well-maintained, so not particularly challenging for those not used to dirt roads, even though unlit.Nonetheless, arriving for the first time in the middle of the night is a bit of an adventure.'

'The cabin was exactly what my daughter and I were looking for. Everything was clean, organized and family friendly. A bonus was the property connects to Bessie Woods and we were able to go for a hike on the trails without even having to leave the property. 'Very nice place to stay for our 3 day hike on the AT. The view from the deck is amazing and the living room is huge with an old stone fireplace which we didn’t use because it was 90 degrees each day. The Mexican restaurant in town (Norte Azul) has an extensive menu and a good variety of beer on tap. Highly recommend visiting Mt Greylock in MA, about 30 mins away. 'Our stay was wonderful at this home. The house was comfortable and very well appointed, especially for people who like to stay in and make meals instead of going out. The kayaks available for use were a great touch, and we enjoyed going out on the lake. Close to so many of western MA's greatest attractions, we had a great time visiting Tanglewood and museums, and touring local towns and restaurants. 'The house was lovely, small but cozy. The weather was very hot during our stay and the house did get a little warm. But the A/C in the main bedroom worked great.
