'We had a great experience with Grandpa’s Cabin. It was clean and inviting. The cabin had everything we needed to have the comforts of home, away from home. The lake was beautiful and there are row boats you can use. We forgot our fishing poles so I messaged the owner and asked if there were by chance any at the house before purchasing a few for the trip and she ran some over for us to use. Only about 20 minutes from South Haven. Would recommend. '

'Communication was excellent, Cottage 5 was very clean and comfortable (we had 8 staying there). We did not cook or grill at the cottage, but we did use the fire pit, very comfortable. The lake access to Little Crooked Lake was close by (across a private road) & the sand beach area was clean & clear. '

'We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It had a lot of nice features and was very comfortable. The pond was covered in algae and did not look as nice as the pictures showed, so we ended up not utilizing the canoe, but it may have been the time of year we were visiting. Otherwise, our stay was great! Lots of room to relax, plenty of activities right there on the property, and a short drive to go into town to do things!'

'This was our 2nd time staying here. The cabin is rustic but it is clean and had the basics we needed for a weekend getaway. It did the trick in helping us unwind from the hubbub of life and get back to experiencing the simple things in life. There was a nice breeze off the lake while we were there so we had the windows open and were quite comfortable. The cabin is right next to the boat launch so every now and then there’s the typical boat traffic going in/out of the lake but it didn’t intrude...

'Property was basically just steps from the lake. Quaint 50’s style cottage. Small bedrooms , small living space. Cute but very dated. Was very difficult for my elderly parents to climb up the stairs to enter main living area with no rails to hold on to. Bathroom needed repairs. 'The cottage itself was quaint and cuter than the pictures! We loved the decorating and felt it was very clean! Like everyone, I’m sure, we loved the screened in porch and the perfect view of the lake. We spent much of our time just soaking in God’s beautiful landscape! We rented the pontoon and enjoyed taking some swims in the lake to cool off. '
