'The property was small, but adequate for what we needed for our stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was ideal. Pretty much anything you needed was within walking distance. Communication for getting access was fantastic. Overall, it was a lovely property and worked for us for this trip.'

'This was our first time in Washington and I would caution everyone to avoid NW if possible. Was convenient to the DC Streetcar however the unit is located almost directly over a liquor store and the walk to it was dicey. I wasn't aware but apparently pot is legal and used openly in public. Would not have brought the kids had I been warned. The unit itself was TINY. We felt pretty safe being on the 3rd floor but it was quite noisy from the traffic and late night partiers across the street....

'Beautiful apartment in a charming neighborhood! My family, and our dog, visited during Spring Break and we loved our stay. The owner took great care in outfitting the apartment with all the amenities of home-- right down to stocking the pantry with healthy snacks. The location is great-- only a half block away from local landmark Ben's Chili Bowl and a quick Uber away from the National Mall. 'Our stay was okay but not ideal. Let’s start with some of the pros. Pros:1. Good location - The property is located in Shaw, right next to the Howard theater. It's an easy walk to food, CVS, Whole Foods, restaurants, etc. 2. The view - we stayed on the 7th floor of the apartment.
