'We were not sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. It feels more like a self service Airbnb as you get your own code emailed to you in advance to get into the building and your room. The place is quaint and well maintained. It provided what we needed - nothing fancy, convenient location. My one and only complaint was the coffee. It’s a basic household 12 cup brewer so both mornings we came down to an empty coffee pot and didn’t have time to wait for them to brew another pot....

'Called the hotel to verify pet friendly etc. We were told 3 dogs under 37lbs were OK. We arrived with one 18lb service/medical alert dog and 2 under 15lbs pets. We were not told about non refundable pet fee and 2 dog minimum. Desk staff contacted manager and they canceled our reservation. I understand the policy but I specifically called to verify. This was our second bad experience with LaQuinta and there will NOT be a third.'
