'mandatory surcharges no one asks for or needs'

'Paid for the room through booking and only had to pay about 40 dollars when I would get there. Turned out I had to pay an extra 240 dollars! No coffee in the room, no plug for the bath. Wouldn't go there again.'

'I have been to Chicago many times, but this is the first time at the Hyatt Regency. From the staff to the amenities it was outstanding!!! Highly recommend staying here if you are planning on coming to this wonderful city!'

'Hotel is dated- be aware. Photos make it look more comfortable than it actually is. Rooms are relatively clean however has a very odd decor style and rooms do not feel comfortable. Great location but needs some modernizing. Dark corridors and doors with paint chipping which makes it feel worn and mot well maintained. Old furniture- gave me some negative vibes. Rooms small. Bathroom tiny and can’t even fit a holder for bathroom tissue!!! Arrived on Sunday and told restaurant closed and...

'Great lake views'

'Great place, can only but recommend! May seem pricy but totally worth it and the location is great! The staff is kind and very helpful!'

'Great room with a beautiful view over the river. Bed’s were very comfortable. The rooftop bar is by far the best in chicago with an amazing view. A must stop. Location is perfect to walk everywhere in the downtown area. Will definitely come back, my new fav stay in the city'

'Location is perfect and pool is a real added value!!!'
