'This is our second stay at this VRBO. Again, well stocked; everything is easily accessible. Considerations are definitely made for guests in mind. Comfortable upstairs bed. Haven't used downstairs bedrooms as our children are in college and have not been able to join us on our past couple trips. Home itself is nice and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Tahoe. We will definitely be back.'

'We had a great stay at the property. It had everything we needed to get some comfortable rest and daily hiking. Made breakfast daily and not too far from some restaurants up the road. Spent the first snowy evening in the hot tub and hiked locally the first day. Took a short drive to Fallen Leaf Lake where we hiked the next day. The mountain venue is spectacular!'

'Had a great time at Gary’s place. Terry, the property manager, was very helpful as well. Unfortunately the washing machine broke before our arrival, so we didn’t have access to it during our stay. Terry let us know in advance and both she and Gary were accommodating to our arrival time, even though it was outside the checkin time. The cabin is great! 'This place is definitely a great deal. Location to the lift is only a 3 minute walk. Host was very kind to check us in early and even had a welcome basket ready for us. Even checked in during our stay if everything was okay. Even shared weather notices with us during our stay. I would love to stay at this home again. Thank you for the amazing trip.'

'Unit was great and well stocked for our groups trip. The multiple rooms made it easy to spread out, while the large kitchen and living room allowed for a fun group setting. Host was responsive and instructions were clear.'

'Super cute place, quiet and felt safe and comfortable. The owner was super responsive. I couldn’t connect to internet, but that was probably just me. I wasn’t too worried about that since Tahoe is right there. Marla bay is private, so I had to drive to different beaches and couldn’t just walk, but was still super close. And my dog was allowed, so that was key! :)'

'Overall, we truly loved the chalet and our visit to Tahoe! The cabin is a little far from town, so keep that in mind. The cabin was very clean, we just ran into some issues with our bed sheets upon arrival, but Jack was a doll and brought us clean sheets late at night! 'We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was nothing fancy, but it was warm and cozy and we had everything we needed. The best part was how kind and accommodating the hosts were. Would definitely stay here again.'

'The cabin is cozy, clean, quiet and conveniently located . My husband and I met our friends that are a family of 4. The bedroom with the queen bed and bunk beds worked perfectly for the friends. 'Our son and his friends stayed here as their high school post graduation trip. From talking to them they thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Per their feedback, the house was well equipped with various amenities including some basic ingredients like salt, pepper etc to help with cooking. 'We had a great time in Kirkwood. Enjoyed having the great room and fireplace. Perfect place to share with a family or two. Great selection of board games! Nothing flash but it all works and house gets cosy quickly - we arrived late and it was cold at first. We loved being able to ski to and from the property to Timber Creek (lots of traversing but doable). The shuttle service is an excellent alternative if you’re not up for this. Liz could not have been more helpful or communicative with us.'

'Perfect location to go on hikes snowboarding and visit heavenly village. The property has a Perfect area for snowplay. My kids had a blast just playing in the backyard sledding and snowball fighting. Beds were very comfortable and we had everything to cook home meals make cakes and bbq outside.'

'We had to leave the night we got there due to termites all over the place and needed to go stay at a nearby hotel. I was refunded for the stay the next morning but was frustrated at the uncleanliness of the house.'

'Weer een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij the Americana Village. Het is een leuk complex en we hadden een mooie ruime kamer met keukentje, (eet)tafel en bank. Op loopafstand van Heavenly Village waar genoeg te shoppen en te eten is. Ontbijtfaciliteit had iets beter gekund.'
