'FRONT floor entry can be a little tricky, but the Assistance from the front staff made up for any complications endured. HAVE a little Grievance with Expedia itself, your site charged me more than the hotel gave me a receipt for, like $40.00 more. Is there a reason for this?'

'This is an extremely well-run hotel. The rooms are modern and spotless. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is right in the middle of Cornell University so you feel immersed in the campus. If you reserve a view room, you'll get a great view of the campus. I would go back there in a heartbeat. And don't forget to walk down to Collegetown Bagels -- the food there is fantastic (way more than just bagels).'

'It is a well maintained and managed old property. The Laurel doesn't have the amenities of modern hotels, but the location, the private balcony with an amazing view was worth the stay. The owner/operators are great folks.They were understaffed but the working staff were great, friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was very good. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive.'
