'The host had accidentally double-booked the property, the first night, but was very helpful in arranging other lodgings at no additional cost to me.Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Walking distance to mom & pop shops, Target and Whole Foods. Easy bus access, and bit of a hike to Metro.In the future, the host may want to stock the unit with more cookware—at least one more pan and some cooking utensils.'

'We had a pipe burst and needed home repair. The owners/property manager were extremely helpful and flexible in extending our stay when we found out the project was running longer than expected. It was an easy walk to Silver Spring to catch the train downtown or to grocery shop or go out to eat. The media set up was great and the Internet was fast. It was the perfect unexpected home away from home right when we needed it. '

'The rooms were cleaned and much space for our church group. The host was excellent and I was able to communicate by text and phone, the only thing I didn’t like at first were some mechanical and furniture wasn’t fixed but the contractor came to fixed most things. '

However, there were people upstairs during my stay.The residence was easy to find, check-in was simple, and the location is convenient for those who drive. Unfortunately, we arrived late and were hoping to settle in and sleep, but there was significant noise from upstairs. The host’s quiet hours are listed as 11 PM–7 AM, yet...

'This stay really came in clutch for me and a group I was traveling with when our original stay fell through. Nice little place that is very close to a CVS, gas station, public transport, and restaurants. Great area, nice homes and a little nature in the heart of the city. Had everything we needed, better than a hotel. Host was great and communication was too.'
