'The Wells Moody is a convenient, drive-up-to-your-door motor lodge with clean comfortable rooms. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. And the location was convenient. We did not go to the beach but it was only .8 mile from the sand, straight down the adjacent road. Expect a nice -- but basic -- no-frills motor lodge and you won't be disappointed.'

'Very low toilet, which was hard for seniors to rise from. Seal on shampoo was difficult to open. No soap dish on sink as opened soap kept sliding around. Room clean, bed n pillows comfortable. Entrance card , and internet worked fine. Location was good. A good average place to stay.'

'very clean place a lil older but staff and owners was very nice awesome pool the breakfast was a lil small no eggs or protein but good for coffee n muffin .. lotsa of stuff to do around there tons of beaches and restaurants was good . close to york beach and ohunquit beaches'

'Nicely located old landhouse hotel. We stayed in the pineapple suite which was nice. The only downside was that the bed was a bit squaky and there was no hairdryer supplied in the room.'

'the man at the reception didn't like his job very much. I didn't care that he wore a furhat the whole day but the only word that came out of him during our stay was "room". No hello, nothing. Very uninterested. Bad PR...'

'Although the room felt clean, the workmanship of it was poor. There were holes in the drywall around the tub, and we had a cockroach come out of there one morning. The paint job was poor, and it looked like there has probably been some water damage from the upstairs room. It wasn't horrible, but since the rest of the parts about this property (staff, cleanliness, cost, amenities, etc.) are very good, this took away from all those.'

'Front desk staff was helpful and hotel was well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a little small for my family of four but we made it work. Overall a good stay with no complaints!'
