'Dog friendly and owner allowed me to bring my GSD even though over the weight limit. Nice little cottage, private setting, peaceful but in need of some updated touches and features. A couple things noted- the stove top front right burner isn’t working properly. I tried and made sure it was pushed in /connected properly but still couldn’t get it working beyond a low setting. I did not contact the owner since two other burners work during my short stay. The front outside light didn’t work.The beds...

'We were not happy with the property, pictures made it seem bigger than what it was. Very old inside, shower leaked in the main house, a chair broke with someone sitting in it, hurt her back. Very musty smelling, furniture old. We did not like that the owner lived right on the property, felt liked we we’re always being watched coming & going. Old plastic roped tablecloth on the table, not cleaned very well, pails in bedroom still had garbage in them. Would not recommend 😔'

'We had a great stay at this home in York. It is well appointed for a beach house, it was clearly professionally cleaned, and it has a cool old charm to it. Perfect location right on the beach. Just be aware that the basement is occupied by a relative of the owner and their dog. We didn’t have a problem during our stay but did have to share parking and be mindful of the other person on the property.'

'We had a great stay! The cottage was very clean, comfortable and convenient. The three most important factors to me. The beds were very comfortable and the location to the beach was nice and close to catch that spectacular sunrise every morning. We loved walking the beach and to local restaurants too. Paul was great about letting me know about checkin time in advance and extremely responsive when I had a question. I would highly recommend this cottage.'
