'My husband and I are both vegetarians, and the chef was able to make delicious vegetarian meals for us. The dinner we had was one of the best of our time in Japan. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The room and private onsen were relaxing, and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The staff went above and beyond by providing us a ride to the Open Air Museum and then to the train station. We had an incredible time and would very highly recommend staying here!!'

'Der Ryokan ist eine gute Wahl, wenn man Hakone erkunden möchte. Die Unterkunft sieht von Außen zwar nicht nach einem klassischen Ryokan aus bietet aber ansonsten den gleichen besonderen Service. Das Frühstück und Abendessen besteht aus mehreren Gängen die wirklich sehr sättigend und vielfältig sind. Während unserers Aufenthalts gab es immer andere Gerichte. 'If I can sum it up in one word…. ‘Wow!’ This hotel was amazing. I booked a Japanese style room on the upper floor of the west wing with a private onsen. The room was spacious, clean and really comfortable beds. Sitting in the onsen and having a ‘cold drink’ with the views was amazing. The hotel staff was excellent on check- in and check-out. Dinner and breakfast service was also excellent.'
